We're looking for a strong candidate to support our Trend Controls Systems and join our dedicated team of field services engineers here in the northwest.

As we continue to grow our portfolio of sites, clients and solutions, we are looking for a passionate In-House field services engineer to join our team. 

Our field services engineers are our boots on the ground grafters that think outside the box to get things done. providing our customers with a proactive response to all maintenance visits, reactive works and remedial actions. 

BeMS Systems rely upon regular performance driven actions to make sure that the software methodologies, end devices and plant are operating as effectively and efficient as possible. Were also keen to make sure that we bridge the gap between traditional based maintenance and remote analytical smart maintenance. empowering our engineers to make decisions and actions on clients systems needed to keep building environments safe and optimal. 

Field Services Engineer - Knowledge and Skills

  • Multi Disciplinary Engineer across all deliveries within the BeMS Industry
  • Strong Background in HVAC Controls Systems
  • TREND Controls Systems (Expert Level Achieved) 
  • TREND IQ1, IQ2, IQ3, IQ4 Plant Controllers 
  • TREND IQL, IQECO, Terminal Controllers 
  • TREND 963
  • TREND IQVISION 
  • SIP CONTROLLERS and Integration Devices
  • Open Protocol Integration, BACnet, Mbus, MODbus,
  • Experience with HVAC UI graphics and Engineering - PX Pages/ 963 Graphics Pages 
  • A strong Portfolio of projects and systems that demonstrate multiple buildings and HVAC Applications.
  • Good Electrical Background - Skills Cards applicable 
  • Able to complete on Panel Modifications and adaptations for system modernisations. 
  • Conversant in Smaller Service upgrade Projects, seeing an upgrade through from start to completion 
  • Good Fault finding skills within legacy and new systems 
  • IT and Networking skills including terminology and fault finding 
  • BCIA Training levels or Good HVAC knowledge applicable (HNC/ HND Building Services or Electrical Services) 

Field Services Engineer - Deliverables 

  • Tasked to delivering day to day support out in the field for our customers for reactive works both on site and remotely 
  • Carrying out routine maintenance of clients estates and buildings and scheduled visits 
  • Providing building and plant performance reporting using Analytics and Software tools on systems both on site and remotely.
  • Support quoted works, remedial actions and small projects including outstation upgrades and minor variations.
  • Able to provide service controllers upgrades of site wide outstations, including software migrations, modernisations and commissioning 
  • Great reporting and documentation skill - able to develop and maintain good records and system backups 
  • Able to support and follow all health and safety implementations and assist with safe working practices 
  • Be accountable and be a problem solver
  • Build and support relationships with end users and customers  
  • Working from the head office in Manchester and also out in the field daily. 
  • Support working on our "Smart Hub" providing remote bureau support for your estates and sites - React Assistance and Remote Maintenance

  •  As you will be a field services engineer you will be expected to maintain good stocks of hardware and equipment. with this said you will be provided either with a Company Car, Vehicle Allowance Scheme, Commercial Combi Van (5 Seats) or Small Van - Depending on your requirements

Field Services Engineer - Location

The work delivery will be predominately here within the North of England and Wales 

Although we do operate National Accounts too both in London and the south along with Scotland 

We're keen to be working with Engineers here in the North West of England. You will have the ability to work from our head office, out in the field and if you wish to do so from home.
